Our community of Spring Valley Lake was formed by a company known as Boise Cascade. The land was purchased from a company known as Unit Land. This project was formed in 1968. The land was part of Kalin. Lake construction began in 1969. January 1,1970 pumps filled the lake with 1,080,000,000 gallons of water. It took a month for the mile long lake to be filled. The lake covers 200 of surface acres and almost 7 miles of shoreline. The Golf Course and country club followed after the completion of the Lake. The Golf Course is situated on 164 acres and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

Apple Valley is a town in San Bernardino County, in the Riverside-San Bernardino metro Area. The community is in the Pacific Standard time zone. The latitude of Apple Valley is 34.500N. The longitude is -117.185W. Elevation is 2,946 feet. Well known residents included Roy Rogers and Dale Evens, cowboy stars. National and regional coffee companies with outlets here include Starbucks. The average temperature during the Summer is 90 degrees. Winter is 60 Degrees. Investors are building many new strip centers within the community. WalMart Distrbution center has provided a working atmosphere of many new jobs. Senior living , with beautiful homes surrounding a golf course being built by Pultte homes.
Victorville California was incorporated on September 21, 1962. Prior to
incorporation the community had a history which goes back over 100 years when the settlers of European descent arrived.. The town was established as a result of the original railroad station, constructed one mile northwest of the Mojave River narrows. In 1926, U.S Route 66 was established, which was one of the main arteries of the National Highway System. The medium price home is 349,000 dollars. The amount of land area is 67.68 square miles |
